According to a recent survey a whopping 86% of current employees will be looking for new jobs in 2013 (up from 60% in 2009). Only 5% intend to stay put.
As I’ve said before, top shelf talent are not suffering from the high unemployment numbers. This is a tremendous opportunity for those who are ready to attract and retain. These disaffected employees are obviously feeling more comfortable with the job market than they did three years ago.
These employees are looking for:
- Intellectual Stimulation
- Competitive (really competitive, not buzzword competitive) Wages
- Opportunities for Growth
Are you prepared to attract?
